Hi,

Straight out of the download I am trying to install on a standard Suse 9.1 installation with s2jsdk1.4.0 loaded. When I run the installation executable I get the following errors:

Error occurred during initialization of VM
Unable to load native library: /usr/java/j2sdk1.4.0/jre/lib/i386/libjava.so: symbol __libc_waitpid, version GLIBC_2.0 not defined in file libc.so.6 with link time reference
raindrop:/tmp #

Any help would be appreciated.

SuSE 9.1 Pro, has j2se 1.4.2 bundled.
Why did you use 1.4.0?

For me, 1.4.2 works fine….
