Hello,
I have tried to install the plugin of icefaces 1.8.2. It works correctly on myeclipse 7.5 but it doesn’t do on myeclipse 8.6. On myeclipse 7.5 I can see Icefaces 1.8.2 inside the MyEclipse Library, but in MyEclipse 8.6 I can see only icefaces 1.8.1 inside the MyEclipse Library.

How can I resolve this issue?

Yes ME 8.5 supports IceFaces 1.8.1. I have verified ME 7.5 allows the user to add IceFaces 1.8.1. Please elaborate how did you add IceFaces 1.8.2 ?

You can install icefaces 1.8.2 with this plugin http://www.icefaces.org/main/downloads/detail-1-8.iface with MyEclipse-IDE-v7.5-ICEfaces-v1.8.2.zip

How is it possibile that this plugin works on ME 7.5 but it doesn’t on ME 8.6?

Thank you for the details. Please refer – http://www.icefaces.org/main/downloads/os-downloads-1-8.iface
Under supported customer downloads > Tools Support, it lists a software – ICEfacesEE-1.8.2.GA_P02-MyEclipse-v8.6-plugins.zip. I am not able to download this software, it shows an alert that this is restricted to ICEFaces EE subscribers. I would recommend you to add this plugin on ME 8.6. ME 7.5 is based on Eclipse 3.4.x, whereas ME 8.6 is based on 3.5.2, the distribution of eclipse changed, you need to use the relevant plugin compatible to the version of MyEclipse/ underlying Eclipse.
