Can you install iPhone apps on the iPhone simulator for MobiOne even though the app was not created with the MobiOne tool?
The Test Center emulator is optimized to support iOS mobile web applications. So iOS binary emulation is not available. To be more exact, Apple legally prohibits development of such tools.
My query was particularly for JCPenney. We are developing a JCP iPhone app that needs to be tested on an iPhone. Rather than testing on the device we wanted to test this on an iPhone emulator (in this case MobiOne) and wanted to know if MobiOne has the capability for the iPhone app for JCP installed on the emulator and we can test, before we start doing the actual device testing.
