MyEclipse 8 gives following error when I try to install JBoss Richfaces 3.1 :

Cannot complete the install because of a conflicting dependency.

Sorry to hear you are running into this issue. Can you answer few queries for me to get to the root cause?
1. Can you copy and paste your installation details? Open MyEclipse IDE, from menu options click on MyEclipse > Installation Summary > Installation Details.
2. How did you install JBoss Richfaces in ME 8? Have you added as a plugin / update site? Can you share the weblink?

2. I install it from Help -> Software Update – > Add Remove Software

Add this Site :
(JBoss Tools 3.1)

http://download.jboss.org/jbosstools/updates/development/

and select JBoss Tools RicFaces from repository list anf finallyApply .

I give posted error in “profile resolution and validation” phase .

Also , MyEclipse gives this error when I install JBoss 3.0 (same above) :

You are facing dependency issues related to the plugin for JBoss tools richfaces. Also the installation details is incorrect. What is your OS and its version? Are you on x32 / x64? Please note that MyEclipse doesn’t provide any intrinsic support for JBoss Tools RichFaces. Please refer http://myeclipseide.com/module-htmlpages-display-pid-1.html
I would recommend you to remove the said plugin and re-start your IDE.

I use windows XP SP 3 on x32 .

I remove selected plugin and my IDE works correctly but I want to know “can I use JBoss RichFaces plugin in MyEclipse 8 IDE ?” and If yes, what’s my problem ?

Plerase notice that I installed that plugin in Eclipse 1.2 IDE suucessfully.

We don’t support the JBoss RichFaces Plugin. You are seeing dependency issue as you are on ME 8.0 which is based on Eclipse 3.5.1 and this plugin as per you is compatible to Eclipse 1.2.
