Hi!
My previous question was:
“I\’ve downloaded thr trial version 4.1.1 for win xp and I wanted to install it.
My already working eclipse instalation is on the D:\\ drive.
When I position the installaion kit from myeclipse on this location is says \”the specified folder is incorrect\” … what can I do? (the folder is named \’eclipse\’ and it has the .eclipseproduct file)”

And I’vereceived the answer:
“You need to specify the installaion directory for Eclipse as D:\eclipse
The installer is looking for your eclipse installation and can not find in
the root directory.”

Now, my root instalation is “D:\kit\eclipse-SDK-3.1.2-win32\eclipse” and I’ve specified it to the installer and I get the samne error “the specified folder is incorrect”. Can you help me?

I’ve moved eclipse to C drive so that the path is now: “C:\eclipse” and I still get the same error in the installer when I introduce the new path..
I’ve opened the eclipse instalation and it works … can someoane tell me where the problem might be?

Rather than waste time troubleshooting now, please download the manual installer that should get you up and running. We’re upgrading our installers for 5.0 so you should not face this problem in the next release. Sorry for the inconvenience.
