I am having problems running EnterpriseWorkbenchInstaller_4.1GA_E3.1.exe. When I run it I get a Launch Anywhere Error – Could not create Java VM. My path variable is set up to point the the IBM JVM deployed with WAS 6.0 so what else am I missing.

Thanks in advance.

Paul,
The installer can be tricky to get working on some setups. The fastest workaround to this is downloading the manual install and using it. It’s a 2-step process and the instructions are included in the ZIP.

BTW, I am having problem connecting to DB2. The error message was “Encoding not supported!”. Is this a bug in ME4.1GA. Please help asap
because I need this for my project very soon.

Thank you

Product file size posted on the website for ME4.1GA is 159.23 MB but when download the atual file size is 144.89 MB. Why is it different?

lwilcox,
Can you please post all the information we request in the Posting Guidelines thread at the top of this forum? That will give us some context so that we can determine if this is an installation issue, a configuration problem, or a bug. Thanks.
