Hi,
I am trying to install MyEclipse EnterpriseWorkbenchInstaller_030800Beta2.exe into Eclipse 3.0. There is only 1 small java project in my workspace. After the install my perspectives for Debug, Java and Java Browsing are changed to %JavaPref~ and %Preference~. I am not asked about applying any enhancements or updates. I think I am following the instructions correctly. The system is Win2K.

Any ideas on what I may be doing wrong?

What is the build date of the Eclipse 3.0 install you are using? Help > About should show it.

Here is the information from the help about screen.

Version: 3.0.0
Build id: 200406192000

I downloaded this copy of Eclipse on July 5th and the MyEclipse zip file today July 15th.

I think the version of eclipse was release candidate from earlier even though I downloaded it in July. I am downloading the latest SDK now and will try again. I’ll post my results.

Ah, much better. I think the problem was that I didn’t have an SDK version of Eclipse to install into.
