This bug still exists? Does anyone know if this will EVER get fixed?

I am attempting to install MyEclipse but can’t get past accepting the license (clicking Next).
I did try the work around GDK_NATIVE_WINDOWS=1 but this doesn’t seem to work in MyEclpse the way it does in the vanilla eclipse.

    TheProphet,

Sorry to hear that you are still facing this issue. Can you please use this workaround – point to the button and use the enter key. The next release of ME 8.5 is targetted to pick up the fix.

    Sorry for the inconvenience.

I am having the same problem in Fedora 12. In both Oracle Eclipse (the Workshop update), and in MyEclipse 8.5 M2

    sagavia,

I am not aware of this problem on Fedora 12. I came across this weblink – http://forums.fedoraforum.org/showthread.php?t=238203
I would recommend you to cross post on Fedora 12 forums. I shall escalate this issue to our dev team members for further investigation.

    sagavia,

Please use a recent release of MyEclipse like 8.5 GA – there were issues with Eclipse, SWT and the newer version of GTK being used in recent distributions. MyEclipse 8.5 is based on Eclipse 3.5.2 where most, if not all of these issues should be resolved.

    Hope this helps.
