I just bought the myeclipse IDE but I am not able to install it. It is showing some error while I try to install it. It says – “Can’t lanuch executable. Could not load jvm.dll. Try re-installing the Java VM or change the Java VM used by the application.”
I went to this link and followed all the instructions but still facing the same error – http://www.java.com/en/download/help/5000041000.xml#delete.
Please let me know what to do?
The problem is likely due to the installer selecting an incompatible JRE to
run with. Rather than trying to figure out specifically what’s wrong, the
fastest way to a working installation is to simply download and install
using the manual installation archive that’s also available in the downloads
section of the website. Manual installation instructions are available on
the portal here:
