I have installed MyEclipse 3.8.4 fine and have tried to create a new Web Project but get a pop up that says

“An error has occured. Please see error log for more details.”

All J2EE projects do not work but all others seem to be fine?

    My environment:

    Windows XP Pro
    Eclipse 3.1.0
    MyEclipse 3.8.4
    j2sdk1.4.1_05
    jboss-4.0.1sp1

Do i need to set anything or load something else? I did not have this problem before installing the latest version of MyEclipse?

I use MyEclipse all day every day and would like to get things back to what they were… Thank – you in advance…

    –SD.

    SD,
I think what likely happened is that you downloaded our new 3.1 Beta, which is actually for Eclipse M6, and you might still have M4 installed. Is this the case?

Thank you for you quick response… (I went to lunch and came back to your reply, now that’s some help :))
Yes you are right I have M4 installed and downloaded the 3.1 Beta. I will uninstall M4 and install M6, so will try that and let you know…

    thanks a ton,
    –SD.

That did it, thanks for the help…

BTW – can you point me to the Error log file for future reference…

    Glad to hear it.

BTW – can you point me to the Error log file for future reference…

    It lives at: <workspace dir>\.metadata\.log
