I installed MyEclipse_6.0GA_E3.3_FullStackInstaller. The install log says it was installed successfully but when I start MyEclipse I see the splash screen and then a popup that an error has occurred and I should check the log file. The log file is 2098 lines. My LICENSE_KEY is good until Aug 2009. I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times with the same result. Where should I start to look for the problem?

Can you please clear the log file and then try starting MyEclipse and check what error gets recorded. Can you paste the error here for me.

Each time I start MyEclipse a new 2000+ line error log is created in C:\program files\MyEclipse 6.0\eclipse\configuration directory.

Hi:
I asked someone else (also in administrators group) to log in to my laptop (xp sp2) and install MyEclipse. But, although the install completed successfully, it returned the same error when attempting to start MyEclipse. I also ran ccleaner in case anthing was left behind after uninstalling. Any ideas what could be causing the problem? Thanks.

What OS are you working one?

Can you go to http://www.poweredbypulse.com and grab the pulse launcher. After launching the pulse explorer, add the MyEclipse profile to it and try running MyEclipse. Does it work?

I was able to install Pulse and MyEclipse 6.5. That appeared to run correctly but I didn’t want Pulse so I uninstalled and downloaded the 6.5 full stack. It seems to be working. Thanks.
