I’ve been trying to do a fresh install of 7.1.1 and I keep getting mountains of errors (dependency conflicts, missing packages, you’ve seen them in other threads).

What is the last version of ME that works? Can I use 7.0? And what EXACT version of Ganymede do I need? SDK, Java or JEE? 3.4, 3.4.1, or 3.4.2?

Have you been trying to setup MyEclipse using the All in one installer for 64 bit linux?

You need to use Eclipse 3.4.1 classic.

I tried Ganymede SR1 SDk (3.4.1 Classic, right?) with the archived ME 7.1.1 zip file, and ended up getting this error a lot:

Cannot complete the request. See the details.
Cannot find a solution satisfying the following requirements Match[requiredCapability: org.eclipse.equinox.p2.iu/org.eclipse.help.feature.group/[1.0.1.R34x_v20080827-7r7xEIxEI6Zu5nEqN7M3UBpglaat,1.0.1.R34x_v20080827-7r7xEIxEI6Zu5nEqN7M3UBpglaat]].

Sorry to hear you are running into this issue. A PR is filed for the dev team. Looks like there is a blocker and the dev team is investigating more on this issue. Sorry for the inconvinience.

    A.J.Gibson,

For a workaround, if you can download pulse from http://www.poweredbypulse.com and install MyEclipse, it would be easier, as pulse automatically resolves dependencies by downloading missing packages.
If you don’t wish to use pulse, I would advice you to download the all-in-one installer from the archived site and take your computer offline and install.
    Inconvinience caused is sincerely regretted.
