I am trying to install MyEclipse EnterpriseWorkbenchInstaller_4.1.1GA_E3.1.exe on a VMWare session. I get an error box that states an unhandled win32 exception has occured and the installation terminates. What could be the reason ?

Th double-click installer could have an issue with the vmware environment. Here are my suggestions:
1. Try the latest release MyEclipse 5.1.0 which has an updated version of the installer
2. Install using the manual install (which is available on the same download pages as the exe installer). The manual install should have no issues in your vmware session.
