Peter h RobertsMemberHello,
I have worked my way through the MyEclipse IceFaces Tutorial that uses the embedded database, and I worked my way through your tutorial. I am very impressed.
But I have two issues:-1. I do not see the servers in the view Window-Show View – Other – Server – servers.
I can only see them when I use the icons on the toolbar. Then I can stop – start – deploy etc. So I deployed the tutorial and it works. The tutorial does show that you can see the embedded servers in the server tab.?2. So in order to see if I could add a server in the server tab I added a tomcat 6.0 server, it shows up fine and it stops and starts. But when I try and deploy the application developed with the tutorial it doesn’t see it. When I right click on the server to add remove projects I do not see the project. What do I need to do to add this project to this tomcat. ?

You should have all the enabled servers showing up in the server view.

If you open up the manage deployments window, do you see the project deployed to the Tomcat 6 server?
So our saying that the project has been deployed to the Tomcat 6 server but you can’t see the project under the server in the server view? Did you expand the server tree and check?
Please go to MyEclipse > installation Summary > Installation Details and paste the information here for me.

Nothing shows in the server view until I added a tomcat server.

Yes I see it deployed to the myEclipse Tomcat server. I cannot deploy it to the tomcat server I added.

Theres nothing in the server view except the tomcat I added. Like I said I can only see the embedded servers from the toolbar icon.
Please go to MyEclipse > installation Summary > Installation Details and paste the information here for me.
