I have downloaded and installed (not upgraded) MyEclipse 7 on two machines – one Vista one XP Pro. When I am working on java files within the MyEclipse Java Enterprise Perspective I do not get intellisense (by which I mean if I type a dot after an object or class I do not see a list of methods). This worked in MyEclipse 6. My colleague is using the same build of MyEclipse with the same project folders and DOES get intellisense.
I have not changed any preference settings, just downloaded and installed and set the workspace to the folder containing my projects folders (created by my colleague as mentioned above).
Please note that other features like viewing javadoc and open declaration work fine.
I am using the following version:
    MyEclipse Enterprise Workbench
    Version: 7.1.1
    Build id: 7.1.1-20090310

Does anyone have any idea what can be causing this? Thanks

OK I fixed this by going to Window->Preferences then Java->Editor->Content Assist->Advanced and clicking “Restore Defaults”
