    Hi,

I’ve made an app, that uses localStorage. It works fine when run as a webapp. But when is’t turned into an iOS app, the localeStorage disappears every time the app is terminated. I had the expectation that the localStorage would be persistent. Is there a trick to keep the localStorage between sessions when the project is turned into an iOS app?

When the iOS app is installed on an iOS version 4.3.something, the localStorage works, but on 5.1 it dosn’t.

    Regards

Thank for the answer. For the moment my work-around is to use cookies, wich works ok in the project.

Has this issue been resolved yet? Just looking at localstorage to store if a user has registered or not – if registered go to login screen else registration screen. Would be really useful if localstorage is no longer volatile in IOS

Yes – when iOS 5.1.1 was released.
