One of the changes that seems to have happened is the status bar background has changed from black

    to white

This makes some of my apps look disasterously bad.

How do we change it back to black?

Not sure if it can be changed back to black as its part of the changes here i think

But i have noticed on some apps that the status bar is hidden, i wonder if that’s possible in the way ahead? I did a little search and there seems to be a plugin for cordova x3 to hide and change the look of the status bar.

hi guys, we are continuing to make improvements. The ios7 status bar was one of those features that has been impacted by some of our builder revamp. We had to resolve a cordova statusbar bug yesterday. Will be looking into improving it further today – fun times.

Thanks – I’m very glad to be seeing iOS 7 features finally rolling into Mobione builds. Though, right now, we’re in this amorphous space between iOS 7 (spinner, alerts, in-app browser) and iOS 6 (back buttons, headers).
