InnovationsNIParticipantHello, my iPad app iTravelNorfolk builds OK through MobiOne but fails when launched on an iPad 2 (16Gb, iOS6.1.3, 1.7Gb of available space).
The splash screen displays when app icon is touched, the app Home page displays momentarily, and then closes down back to the iPad Home page.
The app can be viewed as a webapp at http://goo.gl/4cind.
I have attached the log from the iPad Diagnostic & Usage.
The difference between this test version of the app that is failing to launch, and that in the App store that works fine, is additional content – text, images, email/web links.Attachments:

support-octavioMemberHi,
Thanks for sharing this crash log. It indicates that the app is crashing down in the webkit browser as the app is spinning up and loading your app’s web content.
Does your app include an audio player widget? Or does it explicitly use web sockets?May 21, 2013 at 3:34 am #339263
InnovationsNIParticipantHello
The app uses audio player widget in several places that have web urls as the source of the audio.
The app also uses the video widget, again with a web url as the source.
I am now having the problem with the iPhone version that also uses the audio player widget to web urls.
I am using Mobione 2.3.1 (hot-fix1).
Thanks, WallyMay 21, 2013 at 3:37 am #339264
InnovationsNIParticipantHello,
I meant Mobione 2.3.2 (hot-fix1). And this problem has only started recently.
Thanks, WallyMay 21, 2013 at 3:45 am #339265
InnovationsNIParticipantHello again,
The app uses url links heavily to external websites if the app user wants to find out more information about a business mentioned in the app. It also has url links to weather and tide information, and to facebook sites if a business in the app has a facebook presence.
Thank you. WallyMay 21, 2013 at 9:58 am #339286

The problem appears to be with the audio player widget on the latest versions of iOS 6. We updated the audio player implementation in MobiOne 2.3.2 to fix a problem on ipad when multiple audio players were present. It appears there is an internal webkit bug with the latest iOS 6 version that the audio player is aggravating. We will post an update as soon as we know more.

support-octavioMemberHi innovations,
We are working on a fix for the audio player now. We plan to make a developer build containing a quick fix available for users that are blocked by this audio player crash. It will probably be tomorrow when we can make it available.

support-octavioMemberHi Wally,
The dev release is delayed as the audio player fix is taking longer than we originally anticipated. We will continue to update as we make progress.

InnovationsNIParticipantHello, the audio fix worked – all good. Thank you all.
Any idea how I can contact ‘jamesbrown’ – one of Mobi members regarding app Google stats?
Regards, Wally -
