I am trying to get an iOS Certificate and I get the following message:

“ERROR – Invalid certificate request type”

I am using the “certificate-request.csr” generated from the “Digital Signing Data Generator”

    Any ideas?

    Hi mp3cdr,

The only known problem that previous users have experienced has been due to using non-ascii chars in their csr request. Please verify that you are using basic ascii chars in the request form. If the problem continues after verifying that you have used ascii chars let me propose that you consult with kyle at http://www.appstoreuploader.com to manually create your ios signing data.

We are not authorized to work with user’s confidential apple dev account info. And there is not an easy way to test csr compatibility with Apple’s cert utility (for example we can not invalidate our certs to test user’s issue). If it does turn out to be an issue with the csr generator then we will work with kyle to reimburse you.
