hi,

i am very new to this tool, just i am plannig to download today.i want the IDE so that i can compile and run the servlets and jsp.even i hav downloded eclipse but i am unable to run the servlet and jsp..i am gettng error javax.servlet.* not found, i heard that some plugins needed to run the servlets in eclipse. i tried lot but unable to found.then i came to myEclipse….is it same as eclipse or diffrent..and tell me brief inofrmation….

i hope whatever i hav told in this is understandable to readers,

Hi, I am developing servlet using Myeclipse, when I follow instruction to build a JSP app with servlet module, no matter how servlet does not work, Tomcat says “HTTP status 404–the requested resource is not available”, I checked everything works fine, what should I do?

Make sure you servlet is mapped in the web.xml file and your using the correct url.
