    Hi,
MyEclipse always sets the application.xml and web.xml to the J2EE spec chosen as default in “default J2EE specification level” in the MyEclipse preferences under “J2EE project”.
Therefore if the default is set to J2EE 1.3, it still sets the config files to the 1.3 spec even though I choose J2EE 1.4 when creating a project.

Setting the default to 1.4 always sets it to the 1.4 spec….so I have a workaround currently.

    I’m using 4.1 GA.

What is your Eclipse Build ID (Help > About) and your MyEclipse Build ID (MyEclipse > About)

Also, are you creating new Web Projects and experiencing this, or are you adding Web Project capabilities to Java Projects and experiencing this?
