    Just letting everyone know that changing the web.xml file to use version 2.4 instead of 2.3 will break the struts wizards. It has to do with figuring out the module that you are working on. For 2.4 the wizards seem to not find the module and try to insert null into the module label. This causes swt to throw an IllegalArgumentException. A workaround is to have a commented out 2.3 version below the 2.4 one and swap it in when you wish to use the struts wizards.

    rriven thank you for the heads up. we will look into this.

    JSP 2.0/Servlet 2.4 support is planned for version 2.8 of MyEclipse, but I wonder if we should do something a little more user friendly than just breaking before then. I’ll pass this report along.

    The problem here is that 2.4 is XSL/Schema-based, not DTD which we just flatly don’t support in 2.7. since it’s not part of the J2EE 1.3 spec. We’re headed that direction though. Sorry for the inconvenience.
