    this is the error I get.
    I installed the service pack 2 on an xp home edition. (bad idea)
    after thiseclipse became unstable so I upgraded to the lasted of eclipse (3.0.0) and myeclipse (version.3.8.2)

    com.genuitec.eclipse.J2eedt.core.J2EE14_CONTAINER (unbound)

    I tried a start with clean. But no improvements.
    Help is most welcome

    If you navigate to Window > Preferneces > MyEclipse > J2EE Projects > Library Sets > J2EE 1.4, and then click “Restore Defaults”, then click “OK” does the problem fix itself?

    Are there libraries listed in that window? Where do you see this error displayed? Have you tried removing the J2EE 1.4 library set from your build path, hitting OK and then adding it back again?

    yes everything was listed in the windows ….
    I finally reinstalled everything and the probleme solved itself.
    My believe of the problem is that there was a problem in the unzipping of elipse ( I used 7z and I has the problem with other java code zipped)

    Very sinister problem to track down indeed, I’m glad its working now.
