    Hi:

I’m using MyEclipse Enterprise Workbench Version 2015 CI 13.

In my Maven pom, I have specified that the scope of a given jar is provided; but when an exploded deploy is done, that jar is deployed to the server.

I have found _an_ answer for this elsewhere, but the steps given in that answer did not exist in my version of MyEclipse.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks.

    d-asherman,

Sorry that you are seeing this issue.I could not replicate the issue at my end with a simple Maven web project.

Can you please give us some more details ?

    1. Please share with us the server details on which the project is being deployed.
    2. Share with the us the link to the answer you said you have found for the issue.
    3. Please send us the pom.xml of the project to help us replicate the issue at our end.
    4. If possible, please create a simple maven web project, deploy it to MyEclipse Tomcat and see if the issue persists.

Hi. I believe I’ve solved the problem. It had to do with the relationship of a parent pom with the local pom. The parent pom was named pom.xml and should have had a different name.

    Thanks,

    Doug
