schafdogMemberI installed via the MyEclipse bundle. I had some minor issue due to case-sensitive filesystem, but got it working.
I have installed subclipse (no subverse) using an update site.
On every completion (ctrl+space) I get “No default Proposals” and on second “No template proposals”
I updated to 7.1.1 but not working after either

Loyal WaterMemberHi,
Can you go to Windows > Prefs > Java > Editor > Content Assist and hit Restore Default. Does that fix the issue? Can you please check if the problem persists in a new workspace as well.

andrekMemberHi,
I have now done 2 fresh reinstalls with 7.0 and 7.1. I also have a big problem with Content assist on Mac OS X. It just doesn’t work. I have tried the following:
1. Reinstall myeclipse 7.1 and create a new workspace – Code assist works for Java, but I get an error in JS. So I turn off the content assist in JS and now the Java does not work.
2. Create a new workspace again – same problem – no content assist in java at all and errors in JS.
3. Reset the content assist in the java editor – still no content assist in java.My machine is a standard Leopard OS X machine, with all patches applied.
Please help with this!
Regards,
Andréas

schafdogMemberThe “restore to default” did not do anything.
The workspace was brand new, but for the fun of it, I have created a new workspace. Here it does work…
Can I compare the settings from one workspace to another?

Loyal WaterMemberYou can compare the settings but this is weird. I believe you already have the -clean in your startup so even that didn’t help.
https://www.genuitec.com/forums/topic/troubleshoot-using-the-clean-command-line-argument/June 20, 2009 at 11:11 pm #299703But this is my scenario…
I’ve a new computer with Windows Vista Home Premium.
I installed a MyEclipse 7.5Can some body help me with this problem?

support-shaliniMemberpwelti,
Have you tried to restore defaults from Windows > Preferences > Java > Editor > Content Assist?
Also did you try switching your workspace?June 22, 2009 at 8:38 am #299717Yes, I make both thing.
I resolve my problem check the following:
Windows>Preferences>Java>Editor>Content Assist>Advanced> Other Java ProposalsJune 25, 2009 at 9:06 am #299862
