Hi,

I’ve been working on a project through Mobione for the past couple of months and everything has been working perfectly. However, two days ago when I went to test my project in the test center, certain javascript codes that were working before stopped working. I didn’t change the code at all so I have no idea what is causing this malfunction. Some of the functions that stopped working are:

– hiding buttons and text fields when a button is clicked
– displaying pop up alerts after text fields are entered
– using phoneui.gotoPage when a button is clicked
– storing and/or displaying values from input text fields (not sure which step isn’t working since I don’t know what the problem is)

Could this be happening because of a new update? Please help because I have put a lot of time into this.

It looks like a syntax error in your javascript code. Could you check the console? http://www.genuitec.com/mobile/docs/testingAndDebugging/testingAndDebugging.html#debugger

In order to isolate the issue please try to create a new sample file with each of related code that is not working, this will help to understand if there’s code problem or mobione problem.

Also, you said you have updated Mobione, right? Please share current Mobione version. If you are using Mobione 2.5M2 you can also try the web Simulator: http://www.genuitec.com/mobile/docs/highlights/2.5.0M2/2.5.0M2_highlights.html#sec6

Hi Octavio,

Thanks for the response. I’ve attached an example for you to take a look at and I used the debugger but I couldn’t locate the error with that tool. Also, the version of Mobione that I’m using is 2.3.2.

Hi wcboyle,

I’ve reviewed your sample project and found out that your jquery selectors don’t have the m1- prefix, so I guess that someway, this option was restored in Mobione settings. Did you update or install Mobione in a new computer where you tested an “old” project?

To fix this you only have to go to Window Menu > Settings > HTML Generation, then remove the class prefix.

Thank you! That fixed the problem. I think I was playing around with those settings on another project and didn’t realize it would carryover to any project I was working on.
