I’ve written some simple Javascript to change the value of a text box. the javascript is in the “onClick” action of the button widget and appears below:
$(‘#m1-training-textField1’).val(‘hello world’);
Works great in test Center UNTIL I upload the app to the MobiOne cloud. After that, it begins giving me a “TypeError: Result of expression ‘$’ [px] is not a function.”. Never works again after this. If I start a new screen, and add the elements and same javascript–works fine again until I upload.
What is causing this?
No idea what could be goofed. Can you post your code for investigation? And also a link to your appcenter app that is goofing up?
I just completed this article that uses custom js to read and update inputfield widgets. I tested it using AppCenter to share it with my phone for testing.
