I was wondering whether I’m missing something within the preferences? I was hoping to set up the formatter, so that I can put all my local variables at the start of the function (JS-lint style), to more closely match the JS-engine parsing order, and I can’t find any way of doing that?

JSFiddle.net will automatically format them properly, so I was hoping that it might not be too difficult to put in … are there any plans to do so?

    Thanks,

We have noted it down as an Enhancement Request. We might plan to include it in the future MyEclipse release.
