Do all of the JBoss IDE features appear in MyEclipse? I realise all of the XDoclet stuff appears, but I’m more interested in the jar/war/ear packaging stuff. I know MyEclipse auto-deploys to appservers, but I’d like to be able to assemble custom jars etc together. When I uninstall JBossIDE I seem to lose that functionality. Is it there and hidden from my view, or doesn’t exist? I’d love to uninstall JBoss IDE if this functionality is there.

    Thanks,

    Ian

    Ian,
Those features of JBossIDE were not integrated. As long as you are not seeing any conflicts with the two plugins and are away of which one provides which functionality, you should be able to keep both installed.

Is there any chance of them being integrated in the future?

Absolutely, we think the JBoss team has done an excellent job and have on our TODO list some more work in that area, although I don’t know if it will be for 4.0.
