    I deploy my application in jboss..when i run tests, I get a noclassdef error with a jdom class. org/jdom/Text

    is there some incompatibility between jdom-b9.jar and jboss ?

    or is jboss not finding any of my third-party jars ?

    i tried puttting my jars in app-inf\lib but no use. same error.

    i am using jboss-4.0.3rc1. any help ?

    i tried creating a jboss-app.xml and adding to meta-inf folder like this.

    <jboss-app>
    <loader-repository>
    dot.com:loader=PhoenixNewRuntime_SunRI-MilestoneH9-2
    <loader-repository-config>
    java2ParentDelegation=false
    </loader-repository-config>
    </loader-repository>
    </jboss-app> thanks..

    but it gives errors about destroy method not found, noclassdef error. in tomcat.

    any help ? thanks..

    chandra,
    You need to put the jdom JARs somewhere that the app server can find them. Like in the /lib directory. You can also add them to the classpath by adjusting your JBoss 4 -> Paths settings under MyEclipse preferences.

    how do i use myeclipse and jboss ?
    do i simply get my ear file into myeclipse and modify the jboss settings and save the ear file ?
    or should i run jboss from within myeclipse ?
    is this explained somewhere ?
    thanks..

    chandra,
    You can’t import your EAR into MyEclipse. You need to break apart the components fo the EAR into individual projects (Web, EJB and Java) and then create an enterprise project that uses these smaller projects as modules.

    This is all outlined in our documentation section here: http://www.myeclipseide.com/ContentExpress-display-ceid-67.html
