I have an unsolved problem with deploy on JBoss3! This is the configuration of my notebook:
    System Operation > Gentoo
    Kernel > 2.4.20 Linux
    JDK > 1.4.2_05
    Jboss > 3.2.3
With the command emerge jboss ,Jboss has been divided in two different directory.
1)In /usr/share/jboss/ there it is the bin and lib directory, so the Home.
    2)In /var/lib/jboss is besides <server-name>/deploy.
Jboss can leave in his completeness only with a native script:/etc/init.d/jboss.
    To recapitulate :
    /usr/share/jboss/bin
    /var/lib/jboss <server-name>/deploy
/etc/init.d/jboss for start with command run.

Other ways of starting Jboss have noticed themselves fallacious due to the difficult Jboss configuration on Gentoo for start jboss3.
Does a solution exist to divide the directory of the Jboss home from the deployment directory in Enterprise Workbench to the application server configuration section?.
    Thank you !
I find yours excellent Plugin and sorry for my english. 😉

Not currently, but you could easily setup a sym link in your /usr/share/jboss dir to *trick* ME into thinking that its actually putting the deployment in the right location.

Actually I wonder if the symlink is already there? I know on Gentoo the ebuild for Tomcat puts sym links for the conf dir and log dir all over the place, but the links are created so it still *looks* like a valid Tomcat install… I imagine the JBoss script does the same? If not, you may want to do it manually and then file a bug with the Gentoo team to have them add that.
