    Hello Genuitec!

I just got MobiOne and the test center works great. I do like the possibility to debug JavaScript.
I am developing a web site that uses the jQuery draggable plugin and Jquery Mobile.
The web site works in many different desktop browsers, including Safari and Chrome.
In the MobiOne test center, the draggable event does fire and seems to work fine.

In actuality, when I test with an iPhone 5 with either Safari Mobile or Google Chrome mobile, the jQuery draggable plugin does not work.

Do you have any tips or suggestions about implementing a draggable UI that works in both the MobiOne test center and also on the actual device?
Are there any differences we should be aware between the MobiOne test center and the actual iPhone device, e.g. for mouse events?

    Thank you,

    Giovanni

    Hi giovanniflammia,

Mobile Safari is not open source, and while it’s based on the same WebKit touch events are implemented in proprietary way. We’ve tried to re-impl this in TC but we can’t be 100 percent accurate in that, so most probably there are some inconsistences
