    Hi folks,
I am trying to configure JRun4 from eclipse and when I try to start the server or deploy I get the following error.

A configuration error occured durring startup. Please verify the preference field with the prompt: JRun JDK Name.

The jdk name in the prefences points to jdk1.4.1 which is in the installed jre list for eclipse. Any idea’s.

    Bryan,

The problem is that you need a full JDK, not a JRE, to run any of the application servers. If your JDK 1.4.1 install really is a full JDK, edit it in the Eclipse preferences and set the root to the top-level installation directory, not <install-dir>\jre. That will clear up hte problem. More on it is specifically covered in our Working With Web Projects quickstart in the documentation section here: http://www.myeclipseide.com/ContentExpress-display-ceid-67.html
