First off, I have seen the post with the disclaimer that JRun4 is not JSR-045 compliant. I’ve also read a post here (now I can’t find it) that states that JRun4 indeed supports JSR-045 and that there was supposed to be a quick fix for MyEclipse version 3.8.4.

    I’ve installed JRun4 with updater 5.
    Am running jdk1.4
Tried Eclipse 3.1 with MyEclipse 4.0M2 and Eclipse 3.0.1 with MyEclipse 3.8.4.

Eclipse 3.0.1 never hit any breakpoints. But Eclipse 3.1 would land on breakpoints were I initialized classes. And it was increasingly frustrating to see that it was even finding line numbers to break on, but could not find the source file.

The only thing stopping me from signing up for a few copies for the company is that I can’t debug JSP pages in JRun. Am I setup incorrectly, or is there a fix, or even a workaround that I could use to get this feature working?

    Jeff,
I’m sorry about the confusion, but JRun does not support the JSR 45 spec, you can also seem some posts in the IntelliJ forums about this as well, and of course here: http://www.myeclipseide.com/PNphpBB2+file-viewtopic-t-6918-view-previous.html

As I mentioned in that thread, for development you might consider JBoss to give you a really easy out of box experience, and then deploy the app to JRun.
