    Hi to the list,

    I have installed the new jrun4 updater3:
    http://www.macromedia.com/support/jrun/updaters.html

Now myEclipse “run/stop server” function when I start jrun4 it don’t work 🙁

    I get this error:
The system property -Dsun.io.useCanonCaches=false must be defined to start a server.

    mySetup:
    winXp sp1
    myEclipse
    Version: 3.7.2
    Build id: 200404091200-3.7.2GA
    or
    Version: 3.7.0
    Build id: 20040305-3.7.0
    or
    Version: 2.7.0
    Build id: 200402281200-2.7.0-GA

I fear that MM has change some API :/

I solved the problem with this work-around:
    In Jrun4 -> JDK I have add -Dsun.io.useCanonCaches=false

    Now jrun4 start properly.
    Is it rigth way?

    someone can confirm this?

    regards Lorenzo

    Please try adding

    -Dsun.io.useCanonCaches=false

to the MyEclipse-JRun connector’s optional JDK arguments and testing? See Windows>Preferences>MyEclipse>Application Servers>JRun4>JDK

We need to research this new behavior further and replicate in our connector test-cases. Consider this the work-around for JRun Update-3 for now.

    Michael,

Just confirm that I had the same problem in JRUN 4 updater 3. It was solved by adding -Dsun.io.useCanonCaches=false in JDK argument.

    Thanks for the info,

    Kathy
