On yesterday downloaded ME 3.8.1 QF3:
1)
Open a read-only JavaScript file and press repeatedly some keys. Although the file is marked read-only even in the status bar, after the 2nd or 3rd key press, you will enter characters in the read-only file.
2)
Press Ctrl-J to initiate incremental find: nothing happens.

I was able to reproduce #1 quickly, thank you.

Although with #2, do you mean autocomplete? Try using CTRL-Space.

#2: Ctrl+J like in Java or JSP editor, incremental find, not autocomplete. Like Ctrl+F but inline. Try it in .java or .jsp and you’ll see what I mean.
