I am trying to use JSEclipse 1.5.3 and MyEclipse 6.5.

I have installed the plugin and associated .js files to JSEclipse. However, when I try to open a .js file, I get the following error:

    Error opening Editor: Reason: org/eclipse/ui/internal/editors/text/JavaFileEditorInput

    Details>>>
    java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: org/eclipse/ui/internal/editors/text/JavaFileEditorInput
    …..

Any idea why this occurs? I think it may be the locked file association but do not know.

    Many Thanks.

It seems like there are some compatibility issues between the latest version of JSEclipse and Eclipse 3.3.

You should get this checked by the JSEclipse team.
