    Thanks… I finally just did a complete reinstall of Tomcat again and all seems well now: your suggestions of yesterday were right on.

    Can you suggest an example that would display how to wire up a jsf h:selectOneMenu to a backend database? Every example I can find just uses hard coded values…

    I’m glad everything is working, I was just about to suggest doing a full reinstall. Unfortunately I don’t have a tutorial handy that is good for this… maybe check out JSF in Action from Kito Mann?

    Or check out his site full of tutorials/links: jsfcentral.com, I find it to be a good resource for my JSF needs.
