    Hi all,

    I’m using MyEclipse 4.0M2.

Something wierd is happening with my JSP editor. I created a JSP page based on the “JSP Page using Struts 1.2 with form” template. When I tried to edit the JSP page, the cursor acts really wierd: it positions itself BEFORE a character that I type.

For example, I tried typing the word “Test”, and I ended up with “tseT”. The cursor seems to be “walking backwards”?!

However if I edit a existing JSP page which I copied from another project, the editor works fine.

Any ideas what might be causing this?

    Thanks!

This was a randomly occurring bug which has been fixed in 4.0GA.
I recommend downloading MyEclipse 4.0GA (please download the complete install, do not attempt to upgrade) and installing it with a fresh Eclipse 3.1 Final installation.

Do let us know if you need any further assistance.

    Best,
    Brian.

    Hi Brian,

Tried what you suggested. MyEclispe 4.0 GA works great!

Thanks for the tip-off on this!
