dearmiteMemberwhen I proview the jsp files,
the chinese character turns ????
WHY!??December 2, 2004 at 10:21 pm #220472
Riyad KallaMemberWhat is your system locale? What do you have your default editor locale set to? If you switch back to the source view are the chinese characters displayed correctly? If you view the page in Internet Explorer or your web browser on your computer, do the chinese characters display correctly?

Riyad KallaMemberOur JSP Preview just uses the embedded SWT Browser component, which one Windows is IE, that’s why I’m wonder why the difference in viewing the page…
View the page with Preview again, and right click > View Source… do the chinese chracters look OK? If not please post a sample page for us to test against with chinese characters in it or email it to support@genuitec.com with a reference to this thread ATTN Riyad.

Riyad KallaMemberdearmite,
I should have clarified that I need you to attach a JSP file for me, you pasted the contents of the file directly into an email, so all the characters are already mangled when they reach me (I’m en_US encoding).Thank you for the screenshots, they are great.
