How come my JSP do not show Flow Modeler? I have 3.8.2 😥
I can not open struts-config.xml with web-struts editor, it give me errorHi ayc,
the flow modeler, as far as I know, only supports Struts 1.1.
however, since Struts 1.2 is able to work with 1.1 struts-config.xml-s, and as far as I remember, the 1.2 dtd does not add any more useful features in the config file aside from being able to specify modules on actionforward tags, instead of using the context-relative attribute, I would say try to use 1.1-formatted xml-s, and replace the struts jar files manually in the project after adding Struts capabilities, if you can live with not using the cross-module actionforwards.
I expect, probably there will be support for Struts 1.2 in 3.9. If many of us ask for it, maybe we could convince the ME guys to get it even into 3.8.3 but, of course, that depends on how convincing we get … 🙂 As they used to joke with it, we can always try to bribe them… only someone (other than me) should support the financial basis for that bribery 🙂

Actually, we are trying to get Struts 1.2.4 support into 3.8.3. Doesn’t mean we’ll get it done, but we’re sure going to try to.
