I have been very happy with the JSP-format feature in MyEclipse until now 🙂

Just upgraded to eclipse 3.0.1 and MyEclipse 030802 and added the “Web Project capabilities” to my project. Works fine, but the Ctrl+Shift+f does not work. The “Source -> format -> document/Active elements” is grayed out. And the context menu “MyEclipse -> Format Document” does a poor job.

What are the status of JSP-formatting in MyEclipse. How should it work?

Otherwise thanx .. MyEclipse is nice

    Klaus,
Actually we disabled formatting for 3.8.2 and it will be back in 3.8.3 (I didn’t realize you could still execute it from the menu). The formatter, as you found, breaks valid code… in some cases it will remove or combine import statements and even remove tags… we had to fix it up before re-releasing it.
