Operating System and version: Linux Fedora Core 2
    Eclipse version: 3.0.1
    Eclipse build id: 200409161125
    Fresh Eclipse install (y/n): y
If not, was it upgraded to its current version using the update manager?
    Other installed external plugins: MyEclipse
Number of plugins in the <eclipse>/plugins directory that begin with org.eclipse.pde.*: 7
    MyEclipse version: 3.8.2
    Eclipse JDK version: 1.4.2_04
    Application Server JDK version: 1.4.2_04
Are there any exceptions in the Eclipse log file? Not sure
    – Message Body ——————————-

One of the reasons that I purchased MyEclipse was for previewing HTML and JSP pages. I cannot preview the pages at all. No tab exists next to the Source tab in the editor, not does the page appear in the Image Preview window.

I installed Eclipse and MyEclipse as root and am running Eclipse as a non-root user. I get messages that MyEclipse cannot open the internal browser. Also, when I click on the Web Browser tab, I get an SWT error that tells me that it recommends shutting down the IDE.

    1) Make sure you are opening your HTML/JSP pages with our editor (right click, Open With, MyEclipse JSP(HTML) Editor)
    2) SWT Browser control on Linux requires a certain version of Mozilla, I believe 1.4->1.6, 1.7 won’t work. Also it needs to be compiled with GTK2 support in.
    3) Make sure you have your subscription information entered in when trying to use MyEclipse as a different user from yuor Eclipse install.

** NOTE, you may try first to install Eclipse and MyEclipse as the asme person and get everything working THEN try and move the two apart as different users.
