I use displaytag in my jsp file:

<display:table name="sessionScope.departmentList" sort="list" width="100%" pagesize="10" id="departmentModel" requestURI="go.do?sc=dept.manage">

and here is :

<%=((Department)departmentModel).getDepartmentId()%>

then “departmentModel cannot be resolved” errors is reported.

And there is a warning “Unknown tag (display:table).”

There are two issues here. First, to see why departmentModel is marked as an error, please see my post here:

Second, to get a better idea of why your taglib is not resolving follow these steps:
1) First be sure your project is a web project
