So here I am again. I was so happy to see a 4.0.2 m2 build specifically for eclipse 3.1… and jsp tag completion doesn’t work.
I read the post about flexible project layout. any idea when that will be supported? how about JUST the ability to rename the WebRoot folder to something other than WebRoot – say “web”, or “bob”, or anything?

Are there any exceptions in the Eclipse log file? (<workspace>/.metadata/.log) noActually, JSP tag completion works just fine. The issue is likely in your installation or configuration. Can you provide an exact example of your JSP code, your project layout, and what failure in completion you’re experiencing?
how about JUST the ability to rename the WebRoot folder to something other than WebRoot – say “web”, or “bob”, or anything?
I’d also like to point out that you can name the WebRoot folder anything you want, it’s been that way since 2.x series. Navigate to your Window > Prefs > MyEclipse > J2EE PRojects > Web Project preference page.
