I am using the MyEclipse perspective on Eclipse 3.1.1 and MyEclipse 4.0.3 GA. JSP Validation Errors are not showing up in the Problems tab. Errors in .java files do.

This used to work before with my project – I just did a clean Eclipse/MyEclipse install.

    Any ideas?

    Sandeep,
If you are also not seeing red X’s in your package view for the JSP files, then the problem is you need to add your JDK’s /bin directory to your System’s PATH environment variable and restart MyEclipse.

If the problem is that you see the X’s but no errors in your problem view, then you need to click the down arrow in the problem view, click Filters, then click Select All and hit OK.

    Excellent! That solved the problem.

    Exactly why was that happening?

    Thanks,

    Sandeep
