    hi,
    I have installed myEclipse 6 on my machine with jdk 1.4.2. It starts nicely but suddenly it closes saying “JVM TERMINATED EXIT CODE =1” with some parameters.

    My System Configuration –
    mother board = 845glly.
    processor – p4 1.7 ghz.
    ram = 256 mb, sd ram
    Operating System installed = Win XP.

    Kindly help me out.

    Can you go to MyEclipse > Installation Summary > Installation Details and paste the information here for me.

    Can you change the -vm argument in the eclipse.ini file to point to JDK 1.5.0_11 and check if this issue gets resolved.

    hi Nipun,
    I am sending the installation log along with 3 error logs to your email. I want to use only jdk 1.4.2 because that is the one i am working on.
