Hi,

Has anyone able to embed a JW Player in their app (HTML5) or have an alternative video player that supports playback of RTMP video streams for iOS devices ?

Currently what I am doing is a URL to m3u8 files which plays on iOS devices but it plays on safari window. I haven’t tested it in a native app but I have a feeling it will behave the same in a way that my app will open safari window even if i select same window in the url parameter.

Anyone with success in embedding video player inside the app would be nice to have an idea how it is supposed to be done for native app use.

Please try out the 2.1 preview. The 2.1 production release should have tools to assist you.
