With CodeMix at the Technical Preview stage, there are a few known issues in the product which we’d like to specifically mention. These are high priority work areas for us, so expect fixes to be made in the near term.
Known Issues
1) Multi Editor Support
A file can only be edited by a single CodeMix editor at a time. This means that creating a new editor, or a split editor (Window > Editor > Clone / Toggle Split) for that file will not work.
2) Comparing Files
The compare editor will not work reliably. Contents may not be visible, and/or changes made may not be correctly persisted.
3) Multi Instance Support [Fixed: 2018.4.16]
Two Eclipse instances running CodeMix will result in the second instance not being able to connect to the CodeMix engine – no CodeMix functionality will be available. Please run only one instance at a time.
