I just downloaded the latest release of MyEclipse 4.0M2 installer. This program does not work on Windows XP SP2. No matter what target directory I select (including the default C:\), the installer keeps telling me that my location is in error and will not allow the installation to continue.
I can’t believe you guys released this installer.
Please read the error message a little more closely. The installer has been used over 10,000 times already and you’re the first report of a problem. You’re likely getting tripped up where it asks for you to location your existing Eclipse installation. You should point it to a recent Eclipse 3.1 install at the directory named ‘eclipse’, as it instructs you to.
